Sweet Hour of Prayer (Navajo Lyrics)
I cannot believe I figured this OUT! Wow! I'm so excited I can't type!
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isa.53:5
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. Psalm 143:8
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.Romans 8:5-8
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7
I'm a grandma with two kids and two grandkids. I've been saved since I was a teen ager but my husband, “the best Navajo on the reservation,” taught me about simple faith and trust. He absolutely and implicitly believed God in all things. I tended to intellectualize and over think the Promises. Louie accepted them at face value. I thank the Lord for what he taught me.
With the Lord's help I raised two great kids, Notah and Rachael and naturally acquired two equally great 'kids-in-law,' Kerra and Michael.
Now, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. And I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you."
